Being outside in nature is one of my favourite places to be. Due to Covid-19 being stuck indoors was a bit draining at times. At home my mum has to have the radio on and for me sometimes I just prefer some silence.
I painted the Green Forest by following a Bob Ross tutorial, I believe this was my third painting of his that I did. Do be honest I never expect to come out this good.
I visualised myself standing in the middle of this beautiful green forest. Closed myself and all I heard was silence. A few seconds later….chirp chirp I hear, it’s the birds in the trees playing and flying around. I believe the sound of nature is blessing. I remembered in one of Deepak Chopra’s meditation he mentions that the sounds of the birds chirping is a abundance and that we are surrounded by abundance everyday.
I feel this abundance and gratitude and it took me to the next level of feeling relaxed and at ease. When I looked up in the blue sky past the tall trees, it made me feel like I was in heaven. The forest is one of the places I love to visit or even be part of my backyard.
The thoughts of having it being part of backyard, I decide to paint the second piece on this Lindt container my brother got in Amsterdam. Now I get to see it everyday and it’s a reminder to myself that nature is beautiful and full of abundance.
